We have been forgotten by the local government, help had been promised and then we were told no money for us.We do not have bomb shelters in our homes, nor none that i could get to in 15 seconds or less.My idea of a shelter in my home is my computer room which has a window and is at the back of my tiny house, furthest away from a quassam that could come crashing thru my old (built 50 yrs ago) crumbling walls through two of them and pray to God,that is what i use for a" bomb shelter".These house would disintegrate from a blast near by.So far, thank god,the quassam have fallen near enough to feel a shudder and a vibration.Dec,20th another rude awakening to greet the beautiful day here, yes thay are at it again, there were 2 as far as i could tell. This I will say ,THAT NO ONE BENEFITS FROM THESE USELESS ATTACKS,THEY WILL NOT BE RID OF US ,NOR WE OF THEM,SO SIT DOWN,LAY DOWN THE QUASSAM AND ROCKETS AND DIALOGUE IS A MUCH HEALTHIER CHOICE.TO WHOM DO WE TALK TO?THE SIXTY FOUR THOSAND DOLLAR QUESTION??????
heard rumblings far off, maybe they are talking out loud.
The city hidden under the quassam firings is a small city/town of about 30,000 people.Sderot is a quiet.peaceful, languid place easy to get around in.All the important things needed to live -are within walking distance, with enough shelters in strategic places, bus stops, etc. But none in my home nor my neighbours homes.I live in the atiq (old) part of the city, nestled behind a soccer field.Their practices and games keep me company at times.Their games are usually on friday before the onset of shabbos. This is a mainly religious town.Shabbos is a real day of rest here, when we are not disturbed by quassamim. As I wrote this there was a zevah adom and I just continued with my writing as I was in the'SAFE PLACE'.This one i heard the whizzing of it and said to myself ,this one is real close to here and it was the one that fell on the school a few blocks over.Heard the ambulances immediately,it fell into a pile of sand, did i not say that we have an angel sent to watch over us????
